On Monday, August 17, 2026, as part of the CFU Challenge 2026 U-14 Boys organized by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), our young Grenadiers made a strong start to the competition at the Cap Cana Sports City complex in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with a resounding 5-2 victory against French Guiana's "Yana Dòkò". Our young Grenadiers, leading Group B, will face Trinidad and Tobago's "Young Warriors" at the same stadium this Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM (local and Haitian time).

Summary :

Haiti delivered one of the most impressive attacking performances of the day, dominating French Guiana [5-2] thanks in particular to a sensational four-goal haul from Jodley Sheeck Delmas (26', 42', (46’, 68’).

Haiti opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a cross from Wensley Dumorne. Jerry Petit-Homme sent the ball under the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Petit-Homme turned provider, delivering a free kick to Delmas, who volleyed it home to double the score [2-0].

French Guiana pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 37th minute thanks to Railey Jean Marie [2-1], but Delmas restored Haiti's two-goal lead in the 42nd minute with a spectacular free kick from a difficult angle [3-1].

Haiti was awarded another penalty in the 44th minute, but Ronelson Pelé Janvier's attempt was saved by French Guiana goalkeeper Dos Anjos. Delmas completed his hat trick moments later in the 46th minute, controlling a short corner before cutting inside and unleashing a powerful shot [4-1].

French Guiana pulled one back in the 64th minute [4-2] thanks to Railey Berg Jean Louis, who reacted quickest to a loose ball in the box.

Delmas saved the best for last, capping off his four-goal performance with a spectacular long-range strike from outside the area, sealing Haiti's victory [5-2].
